NIIST Recruitment 2025: Educational Qualifications::-
1. Technical Assistant (UR-01): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology of at least 3 years full-time duration or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Technology of at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in the diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in the relevant area/field.
2. Technical Assistant (EWS-01): Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Technology of at least 3 years full-time duration or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Technology of at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in the diploma course, with minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in the relevant area/field.
3. Technical Assistant (SC-01): B.Sc Chemistry or equivalent with minimum 60% marks and one year experience in relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organization.
Or
B.Sc. Chemistry or equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks and one-year full-time professional qualification.
4. Technical Assistant (UR-01): B. Sc Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent, with minimum 60 % marks and one year experience in the relevant discipline from a recognized Institute/Organization.
Or
B.Sc Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent, with minimum 60% marks and one-year full-time professional qualification.
Or
Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering / Information Technology of at least 3 years full-time duration or Diploma in Computer Science/Computer Engineering / Information Technology of at least 2 years full-time duration in case of lateral admission in the diploma course, with a minimum 60% marks and experience of 02 years in the relevant area/field.

SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and 3 years of work experience in the Draughtsman (Civil) trade in a Ministry / Department / Organization / Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body under the Government of India/State/UT.
7. Technician (1) (UR-PwBD-OH): SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, with minimum 55% marks and ITI certificate or National/State certificate in Computer Operator & Programming Assistant(COPA) trade.
